Volunteering

We are always looking for a few good women. If you are interested in (1) meeting other lesbian and bisexual women, (2) having fun, and most of all, (3) helping promote lesbian and bisexual women’s physical, mental, spiritual, sexual, and community health in the Triangle area, come join us! Types of Volunteers

Special Event Volunteers
You don't have to plan. You don't have to meet. All you have to do is show up when we have an event and you have an hour or two!

Project Volunteers
Interested in helping plan and coordinate a particular event or project? We'll keep you posted as these are in the works so that you can get involved...and you can always share your own ideas.

Core Volunteers
Do you want to volunteer but don't have time to come to meetings? We have tasks that need to be completed on a regular basis (i.e., website maintenance, bookkeeping, mailing list maintenance) that someone can complete in their own time and in their own space. Usually, these activities require no more than a few hours a month.

Leadership Volunteers
Play a role in the leadership and direction of the organization. Typical meetings include planning new and ongoing activities and discussing our involvement in other community events.
